Tom Whiteley

Tom Whiteley has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tom started their career as an intern at GBAC in 2009. Tom then joined KPMG as a Graduate Trainee in Management Consulting in 2010 and later became an Associate in People & Change Consulting, working on projects related to risk culture in retail banks. In 2014, they joined Ndemic Creations, where they served as a Producer and a Delivery Manager, overseeing the development and delivery of the popular game "Plague Inc." Tom then worked as an Agile Delivery Manager and Agile Delivery Practice Lead at Comic Relief, focused on rebuilding donation platforms. In 2018, Tom worked as an Agile Coach at Simply Business before moving to Villages as a Finance Director responsible for financial management. Tom later joined IG as a Senior Product Manager and is currently working as a Product and Propositions Director at 1ovmany.

Tom Whiteley completed their education in a chronological manner. Tom first attended the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management. Following this, they pursued further education at Saïd Business School, also at the University of Oxford, from 2009 to 2010, earning a Master of Science degree in Management Research.

In addition to their formal education, Tom Whiteley has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Tom also achieved the Agile Practitioner certification with distinction from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT around the same time. Furthermore, Tom obtained the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) certification in January 2021.
