Russell Jones

Russell Jones has had a long and varied career in the military. Russell began their career in 1998 as a Division Officer at VAQ-138. Russell then moved to the Electronic Attack Weapons School in 2001 as the Radar Electronic Attack Phase Head. In 2004, they joined Carrier Air Wing TWO as the Current Operations Officer. In 2005, they were the Department Head at VAQ-142. Russell then moved to UNITED STATES AFRICA COMMAND in 2007 as the Chief of the Air Cell. In 2010, they became the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer of VAQ-139. In 2012, they joined Navy Personnel Command as the Branch Head of Officer Performance and Separations. From 2015 to 2020, they were the Director of Headquarters at the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center. Russell currently works as a Senior Warfare Analyst at 2 Circle Consulting, Inc.

Russell Jones received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1989 and 1993.
