Ryan Ghisi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan started their career in 2003 as an HR Business/Systems and Compensation Analyst at O2 (Telefónica UK), where they reviewed and recommended improvements for HR systems and processes. Ryan then worked as a Projects and Planning Consultant at Virgin Media, where they reviewed HR systems and managed budgets and resources.
Ryan later joined Sky as a Lead HR Business Analyst, managing a £1.5m e-HR project. Ryan was responsible for upgrading e-HR architecture, re-engineering HR processes, and implementing a portal. After that, they worked as an HR Systems Consultant at The University of Auckland, where they conducted a data audit, implemented online absence management, and led a project to upgrade the PeopleSoft HR system.
Ryan then joined Air New Zealand as a Senior Business Analyst, providing support on the PeopleSoft HCM system and leading projects related to performance management, remuneration, and training administration. Ryan also acted as a primary interface between HR and IT.
In 2011, Ryan joined TOWER as an Employee Experience Manager before transitioning to Orion Health as a Global Employee Experience Manager in 2013. Ryan then moved to Xero in 2016, where they held various roles, including Global Remuneration and Rewards Manager and General Manager, Global People Programs. In these positions, they created and delivered global people strategies, led teams, and implemented initiatives that resulted in increased engagement and employee satisfaction.
Most recently, Ryan worked at 2degrees as the Head of People Operations and Experience. Overall, they have been recognized for their contributions and achievements in HR, including being named one of the best HR people in New Zealand and receiving recognition in the Global 100 HR.
From 1990 to 1992, Ryan Ghisi attended Knights Templar where they studied Maths, Geography, and History. No degree was specified.
