Manuel Pardo is the current Global CFO and VP Industrial and Safety Business Group at 3M. Manuel has over 25 years of experience in finance and operations, with a focus on developing newly created businesses.

Pardo began their career in finance at Banco de Bogotá, where they worked as a regional and commercial account manager for four years. Manuel then transitioned to Consorio Agroindustrial Colombiano, where they served as finance vicepresident for five years. In this role, they led finance and administrative operations for the company's flowers and sugar cane business, with main markets in the USA, Europe, and Latin America. Pardo was also responsible for operations in Colombia, Ecuador, and the USA.

In 1997, Pardo joined Petrobras as controller for Petrobras Colombia. In this role, they were responsible for the finance function at Petrobras Colombia. Manuel left Petrobras in 1999 to join Porvenir Pensiones y Cesantías as finance and operations vicepresident. In this role, Pardo developed the infrastructure, process, and policies for the newly created pension fund. Manuel also implemented all of the systems, policies, and procedures for the pension fund before moving on to their current role at 3M.

Manuel Pardo attended CESA for their Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Concentration in Finance. Afterwards, they completed an English as a Second Language program at the University of Minnesota. Manuel then went on to participate in the Advance Executive Development Program also at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Finally, they earned their MBA/Master’s Degree in International Management from the University of St. Thomas.
