Jake Wooten

Jake Wooten has a diverse work experience in finance and strategy roles. Jake began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in 2010, where they worked until 2013. Wooten then joined Mistral Equity Partners as a Private Equity Senior Associate, staying with the company from 2013 to 2016. Jake made a significant advancement in their career by joining goPuff as the VP of Strategy & Finance (CFO) in 2016. During their time at goPuff, they led fundraising efforts, financial reporting, and growth strategy, successfully raising over $50 million in venture capital funds and increasing revenue by 15 times. Wooten later joined 4Front Ventures as the Director of Finance in 2018 and eventually became the Executive Vice President of Finance in 2020.

Jake Wooten attended Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with magna cum laude honors. Their field of study was in Consulting and Venture Management, as well as Philosophy (honors).
