Yinfei Gu

Yinfei Gu has worked in a variety of roles in the architecture and design industry since 2015. From 2015-2016, they worked as a Junior Architect at Shanghai Xiandai Architechtral Group and as a Graphic Designer at Shanghai ShenDi (Group) Co., LTD. In 2016, they became a Junior Architect at playze berlin, shanghai, zurich, where they were responsible for 3D modeling the original factory structure and designing touring circulation and new hotel concepts. In 2018, Gu worked as a Junior Architect at UNStudio, where they coordinated using Revit with Rhino group on four Cable Car Stations. Yinfei also worked as a Project Architect at WeWork, where they designed office layouts and arranged lighting and plugs. In the same year, they also worked as a Junior Architect at Banta DESIGN. From 2020-2022, Gu was a Product Design Manager at Poly Property Group Co., Ltd, where they helped to decide whether to take land from the perspective of master planning and design, and gave design suggestions through market positioning, SD, DD, CD phase on projects in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang, Guizhou and Hainan. Currently, they are a Product Manager at 51WORLD.

Yinfei Gu obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2012 to 2017. In 2015, they attended the London Summer School at the Architectural Association. In 2014, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Cambridge. From 2017 to 2020, Yinfei Gu obtained a Master of Architecture and a Certificate in New Media from the University of California, Berkeley. In July 2020, they obtained the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
