👋 Aaron Allen

Aaron Allen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they are seeking new opportunities, specifically in software engineering management at a director or VP level. At their previous role in Shopify from June 2021 to May 2023, Aaron led a 13-person team responsible for inbound operations and implemented key features in the FMS solution. Aaron also collaborated on integrating Shopify with Deliverr. Prior to Shopify, Aaron worked at UPS where they served as an Application Development Manager from January 2020 to March 2021. Aaron successfully streamlined customer onboarding by creating a real-time predictive classification service. Before that, at UPS i-parcel, Aaron held the position of Director of Application Integration from October 2015 to January 2020. Aaron led a team and excelled in handling customer-facing applications and interfaces. Earlier in their career, Aaron worked as the Director of Product Development at Concurrent Technologies from March 1999 to July 2015, where they successfully delivered projects and significantly grew revenue. Aaron also had a partnership role at Sight Media Group from April 2009 to September 2014 and started their career as a Junior Software Developer at MBNA from 1989 to 1993.

Aaron Allen earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, attending from 1993 to 1998.
