Avinash Kumar

Avinash Kumar has a diverse range of work experience. Avinash started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, where they worked on an industrial project with TE Connectivity (India) and conducted various analyses related to shearing tools, resistance spot welding, and crimping machines. After that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Blueocean Market Intelligence, where they managed projects, conducted financial analytics, and analyzed the determinants of attrition in remittance flows. Avinash then joined Chennai Centre for China Studies (C3S) as a Research Intern, where they assessed macroeconomic and international trade indicators for India and China and interpreted policies related to the pharmaceutical and technology services sectors. Avinash later joined the Council on Energy, Environment and Water as a Policy Research Associate, where they conducted financial and policy analysis for wind energy projects and researched green energy policies. Avinash then worked at DailyKit, first as a Senior Business Analyst, where they assisted the CEO's office with strategic initiatives and conducted research for maintaining investor relations, and later as the Head of Strategic Initiatives, where they managed cross-functional project management and conducted market discovery activities. Currently, they are working at 6sense and Slintel, a 6sense company, as a Senior Business Analyst.

Avinash Kumar pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they continued their education at KU Leuven from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics.
