Kelly Huang

Kelly Huang has a diverse work experience in the field of Data Science and Bioinformatics. Kelly is currently working as a Data Scientist at 6sense since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Science Intern at the Joint Genome Institute from May 2020 to September 2020, and as a Data Science Intern at Berkeley Lab Computing Sciences from June 2020 to August 2020.

Kelly also has research experience from their time as an Undergraduate Researcher at Arkin Lab in the University of California, Berkeley, where they performed research in Systems and Synthetic Biology from September 2016 to May 2020. During this period, they also worked on projects related to Bioinformatics Software Development, Synthetic Circuit Engineering, Quorum Sensing Engineering, and Protein Engineering.

In addition to their academic research, Kelly has interned as a Software Engineer at the U.S. Department of Energy from May 2019 to December 2019, and as an NSF REU BioNetworks Summer Intern at the National Science Foundation from May 2017 to August 2017. Kelly has also worked as a Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, where they conducted research on single molecule mRNA detection and visualization techniques from June 2016 to September 2016.

Kelly's work experience highlights their expertise in data science, bioinformatics, and molecular biology research. Kelly has a strong academic background and has been involved in various research projects and internships in prestigious organizations.

Kelly Huang attended Lowell High School from 2012 to 2016. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020. During their time at Berkeley, Kelly focused on the fields of Data Science and Computer Science and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
