Amy Heineike

Amy Heineike has extensive work experience in the technology and engineering fields. Amy began their career as an Analyst at MVA Consultancy in 2004, followed by a Senior Consultant role at Volterra Consulting in 2005. From 2008 to 2009, they were the Director of Science at YouNoodle, and from 2009 to 2015 they were the Director of Mathematics at Quid. In 2015, they joined Primer.ai as the VP Engineering, EMEA, and later held the roles of Principal Product Architect and VP Product Engineering. Most recently, they were appointed VP of Engineering at 7bridges in 2022. Throughout their career, they have worked on a variety of projects, including economic case-making for complex transport and city infrastructure, computational agent based modeling, network analysis, and natural language processing. Amy has also presented Primer's story at various conferences, such as O'Reilly's AI Conference in London and Berkeley's Women in Tech Annual Symposium.

Amy Heineike obtained a MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 2004. In 2009, they began a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Social Science at George Mason University, but dropped out in 2010.
