Brian Machado is the Co-Founder and CEO of Globe since January 2023, where the focus is on developing tools for enhancing robotic capabilities. Currently serving as an Engineering Fellow at 8VC, Brian has a robust background in engineering, with prior experience as a Research Engineer at Samsung Research America and a Mechanical Engineer at Tesla, contributing to the Autopilot and Optimus projects. Brian has also worked as a Robotics Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, specifically contributing to the Everyday Robots Project. Prior internships include positions at Inertia Product Development, Uber, Gastronomous Technologies, and MAG-Z. Brian's engineering journey began as a Design and Manufacturing Lead with FIRST, supported by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
