Ann Hua has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ann is currently employed as a Wound Care Physician at Skilled Wound Care, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to this, Ann worked at 98point6 Inc. as a member of the Primary Care Council, starting in February 2019.

In 2019, Ann also worked at San Antonio Medical Center as an Urgent Care and Family Practice Physician from January to April. Before that, in 2017 and 2018, they were a General Surgery Resident Physician at Saint Joseph Hospital, part of SCL Health.

Ann's earlier experience includes working as an Anesthesia Technician at University Health System from June 2016 to April 2017, and as an Author for ScholarRx, where they contributed to the publication of First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 from March 2014 to December 2015.

Ann also served as the Rice Memorial Center Building Manager at Rice University from August 2008 to December 2009.

Throughout their career, Ann Hua has gained extensive experience in different areas of healthcare, including wound care, primary care, surgery, anesthesia, and research.

Ann Hua has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology - Health Science from Rice University. Ann also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UT Health San Antonio. Additionally, Ann pursued studies in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to their higher education, Ann achieved the Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate Diploma and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar during their time at Fairview High School.
