Thanoshan MV

Thanoshan MV has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technical writing. Thanoshan started their career as a Trainee Software Engineer at 99x, where they completed a six-month internship period. During this time, they primarily focused on developing a Microsoft Teams bot application for HR process automation. Thanoshan also contributed to projects as a Technical Writer at Medium and freeCodeCamp from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they have participated in the Google Summer of Code program in both 2021 and 2022 as a Contributor. Thanoshan is currently working as a Software Engineer at 99x, starting in 2023. Thanoshan has also served as an Apache ShardingSphere Committer for The Apache Software Foundation since November 2021.

Thanoshan MV completed their A/L in Physical Science at Highlands College, Hatton, from 2003 to 2016. Thanoshan then pursued a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Thanoshan obtained certifications in Advanced Data Structures in Java, Data Structures and Performance, and Object Oriented Programming in Java from Coursera, in June 2020 and May 2020 respectively.
