Shankar Venkataraman

Shankar Venkataraman has a diverse range of work experience in engineering, specifically in the field of communications. Shankar started their career as an intern at Sam Schwartz Company in 2000. In 2003, they worked as an Associate Engineer at Wang Engineering Services, where they monitored and collected data on the safety and structural integrity of construction sites. From 2006 to 2018, Shankar held multiple roles at both Downtown Design Partnership and Parsons Corporation. At Downtown Design Partnership, they played a crucial role in designing various communication systems for the World Trade Center Transportation Hub. At Parsons Corporation, they worked as a Communication Systems Engineer, contributing to the design and verification of communication packages for transportation infrastructure projects. In 2018, Shankar joined A.G. Consulting Engineering, PC as a Communications Engineer, specializing in communications and security systems.

Shankar Venkataraman earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 1998 to 2002. Shankar then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2006 to 2012.
