Sandra Dicks (nee White)

Sandra Dicks (nee White) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sandra currently works as a Project Support Analyst at A-Gas since February 2021. Prior to that, from September 2018 to February 2021, they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at OPENCOLLAB.

Sandra also has experience working as a Freelance Scrum-Agile Consultant, where they introduced Agile and Scrum principles to software companies. Sandra provided training, acted as a Scrum Master, and managed projects to help teams deliver better software faster. This freelance role lasted from March 2017 to February 2021.

Before their freelance work, Sandra served as a Search Consultant at Star Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd from July 2012 to February 2021. Sandra also worked at OPENCOLLAB as a Project Manager from January 2011 to January 2012, assisting in the introduction of Scrum & Kanban for projects.

Earlier in their career, Sandra held roles as a Scrum Practitioner at MIH Internet Africa from September 2008 to December 2010, where they served as a Scrum Master for concurrent teams working on the Mocality mobile directory project for Nairobi, Kenya. Sandra also worked as a Project Manager at 24.com from April 2006 to August 2008, managing internet portal applications, and as a Business Analyst/Researcher at MIH Internet from January 2004 to March 2006, conducting research and business analysis for new product proposals.

Sandra's international experience includes working as an Implementation and Product Manager at Voyager Software Ltd in the UK from February 2001 to August 2003. In this role, they provided vision and strategy for product development in the recruitment software industry, drafted business and user requirement specifications, and managed a team of developers.

Throughout their career, Sandra has demonstrated their expertise in project management, software quality assurance, agile methodologies, and recruitment software.

Sandra Dicks (nee White) obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Information Systems from Ambassador University in Big Sandy, Texas, USA. Sandra pursued their education at this institution from 1992 to 1996.
