Scott Thurston

Scott Thurston has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Scott currently works at a.i. solutions as the Director of Civil and Commercial Programs since March 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Director Ground Systems Support at Jacobs from November 2019 to March 2021. Scott also worked at The Aerospace Corporation as Systems Director, KSC from October 2017 to November 2019. Scott'sextensive tenure at NASA from 1990 to 2017 included various roles such as Chief, Technical Performance and Integration in the Engineering Directorate, Deputy Manager in the Spacecraft Office, and Chairman of different evaluation panels and committees. Furthermore, they served in significant management roles such as Crew Exploration Vehicle Manager in the launch Vehicle Processing Directorate and Chief/Flow Director for Orbiters Columbia/Atlantis in the Operations Integration Division. Scott Thurston began their career as an Engineering Assistant at BIONETICS CORP, where they assisted senior-grade engineers in the design and fabrication of computer and electronics systems for the Controlled Ecological Life Support Systems project.

Scott Thurston holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2001. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 1989. In addition to their academic qualifications, Scott has also obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in August 1998.
