Mark Smethurst

Mark Smethurst is an experienced project manager and operations leader with over three decades in the electrical and construction industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at AJ Kirkwood & Associates, Inc. since April 2015, Mark has successfully overseen high-profile projects such as the California Baptist University Events Center and Pepperdine University Seaside Housing. Previous roles include Senior Superintendent at Helix Electric, Inc., where Mark managed significant projects including the New Los Angeles Federal Courthouse, and Vice President of Field Operations at Journey Electric, Inc. Additionally, Mark co-owned Contour Electric Corp. and held various leadership positions at Helix Electric, Inc. Mark also served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1987 to 1995. Mark's educational background includes some college experience from 1984 to 1987.
