Joseph Wilson

Joseph Wilson has a long and varied career in finance. Joseph began their career in 2008 as a Senior Financial Analyst for FP&A/Close at Banana Republic. In this role, they were responsible for reviewing and evaluating annual business plan submissions and engaging with key stakeholders to capture cross-functional points of view. Joseph then moved on to become the Manager of Real Estate Finance & Strategy, where they were responsible for overall capital management. In 2018, they joined Walmart eCommerce as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, they developed financial and business insights to facilitate decision-making to help drive sales performance and margin improvement. Joseph also led the processes for forecasting, budgeting, close, long-range planning, and financial analyses for several online channels. In 2021, Joseph joined a.k.a. Brands as the Vice President of FP&A Finance. As the #2 Finance Hire, they were responsible for building strong relationships within and outside of the Finance department, as well as effectively communicating financial information to non-finance colleagues. Joseph was also responsible for managing all headcount and labor cost reporting, launching new online channel financial reporting, and preparing business reviews and financial reporting.

Joseph Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from San Diego State University.
