Spencer Shields

Spencer Shields is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business analytics and financial management. Currently serving as Business Analytics Manager at A. O. Smith Corporation since November 2021, Spencer provides warranty insights to senior management by integrating diverse data sources to identify cost-reduction opportunities. Previously, Spencer held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Smithfield Foods, where management of a $450 million annual portfolio and analysis of sales data were key responsibilities. Spencer's military background includes various leadership roles within the US Army, culminating in an Operations Officer position, where oversight of operations for a 140 Soldier Company was managed. Spencer holds a Master's of Science in Business Analytics and an Executive MBA, both from William & Mary, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Iowa.
