This position is remote with preference given to Washington, DC metropolitan area candidates.

Key Responsibilities ·         In support of a US Federal Agency, lead a team of up to 10 developers supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) for more than 20 applications.  Provide mentorship, coaching, code reviews, and standards for the team to operate against. ·         Partner with technical and customer domain SMEs to lead solutioning activities, resulting in differentiated, well-articulated solutions that solve problems and enhance the customer experience. ·         Create technical solutions based on requirements included in Government RFPs and RFQs. ·         Serve as a solutions architect working with the CTO to create plans and roadmaps for the modernization of 20+ applications currently in various legacy technical stacks including ColdFusion, PL/SQL, PrimeFaces, and IceFaces. ·         Provide Architect Services to migrate a suite of applications from data centers to a multi-cloud environment including the AWS GovCloud, Azure / M365, SaleForce, and ServiceNow platforms. ·         Plan for requirements during the pre-RFP period to understand gaps in the solution and evaluate potential teaming partners. Translate technology solutions into high quality, well written responses throughout business development, capture, and proposal development lifecycles. ·         Design Concept of Operations and System Models (i.e., logical, and physical architecture) and translate to a narrative. ·         Apply critical thought processes. ·         Always maintain a high degree of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

·         Education & Experience: Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields, with a preference for advanced degrees. Candidates should bring at least 15 years of professional experience, with a focus on IT and digital innovation, including at least 7 years in leadership roles directly influencing digital strategy and growth initiatives within the federal government or for similarly complex commercial clients. ·         Certifications: Current AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certifications are a requirement for this position. Additional Preferred Certifications:  SalesForce Integration Architect or Application Architect. ServiceNow Professional Application Developer Professional Implementer. ·         Technical Expertise & Solution Development: Extensive technical knowledge across digital transformation, agile engineering, data analytics (including AI/ML), cloud services, cybersecurity, and/or emerging technologies desired. Proven success in leading the solutioning for proposals, driving internal IP solution development, and guiding the digital solutions strategy. ·         Ethical Leadership: A strong ethical framework guiding all professional activities, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in internal and external engagements.
