Miriam Bregy

Miriam Bregy has over 27 years of work experience. Miriam currently serves as the Co-Head of Human Resources at Aargauische Kantonalbank since 2023. Previously, from 2016 to 2023, Miriam held the position of Global Head of HR, Member of the Extended Group Executive Team, and Managing Director at elipsLife. Prior to that, they worked at Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd from 2000 to 2016, assuming various roles including Head HR Switzerland, Head HR Business Services, Head Payroll, Head HR Contact Centre, HR Business Partner, and HR Junior Consultant. Miriam began their career as a Paralegal at Notter + Partner in 1997 and prior to that, they served as an Apprentice at the local authority offices from 1994 to 1997.

Miriam Bregy obtained a Swiss Vocational Baccalaureate for Commercial Professions from zB. Zentrum Bildung in 1997. Miriam then pursued further education and received a Swiss Certified Specialist in Human Resources with Federal Diploma from NbW Netzwerk für betriebswirtschaftliche Weiterbildung in 2003. In 2008, Miriam enrolled in the Leadership Development Program at Swiss Reinsurance Ltd, where they studied Leadership, Negotiation, Finance, Reinsurance, Capital Management, EVM, Health, and other related subjects until 2010. Miriam also earned a Master of Advanced Studies in Human Capital Management from the University of Applied Sciences ZHAW in 2012. Additionally, they completed a Gender and Communication course at UC Santa Barbara in 2002 and obtained a Cambridge Proficiency Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in the same year. Miriam's educational journey began with primary and secondary education in various schools from 1985 to 1994.
