Fred Ix

Fred Ix has extensive experience in program management, training, and sales, specifically within nonprofit and staffing sectors. Since March 1999, Fred has served as the National Senior Project Manager at AARP Foundation, overseeing the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) which assists low-income seniors aged 55 and older with employment and training. Responsibilities have included grants acquisition, program compliance, contract management, and budget analysis. Prior roles at AARP Foundation include National Training Director, Regional Manager, and Project Director, where significant achievements involved developing and administering national training programs and managing multiple field offices. Earlier career positions include Sales Manager at Remedy Intelligent Staffing and Sales & Marketing Coordinator at PossAbilities, highlighting strong skills in networking and contract growth. Fred holds a Master’s degree in Health & Human Services Administration and Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College.
