Colin White

Colin White is currently the Head of Research at Abacus.AI. Prior to this, they were a Research Intern at Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago from May 2017 to August 2017, where they designed efficient, scalable algorithms for clustering under perturbation resilience. Colin was also a PhD Student at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2014 to December 2018, where their research was in learning theory and the design and analysis of algorithms. During their time at Carnegie Mellon University, they were also a Teaching Assistant at Amherst College from January 2011 to May 2014. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Research (REU) at Salisbury University from May 2013 to August 2013.

Colin White received their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Colin also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Amherst College.

They are on a team with Ankit Khare - Head of Content & Developer Relations (AI Technologist), Arvind Sundararajan - CTO, and Siddartha Naidu - VP, Machine Learning and Research. Colin White reports to Bindu Reddy, CEO.
