DJ Human

DJ Human has worked in the data science field since 2011. In 2011, they were a House Committee member at Stellenbosch University, where they were responsible for the culture, IT, and multimedia portfolios. In 2015, they joined FNB South Africa as a Quantitative Analyst, where they were involved in building and maintaining credit origination and collections scorecards. DJ was later promoted to Senior Quantitative Analyst, where they developed models ranging from simple rules-based models to machine learning models. In 2020, they joined DataRobot as a Senior Pre-Sales Data Scientist and Customer Facing Data Scientist. Currently, they are the Director of Data Science at Abacus.AI.

DJ Human has a comprehensive educational history. DJ received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University between 2010 and 2013. Following this, they obtained a BCom (Hons) in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University in 2014. DJ then completed a Master of Commerce (MCom) in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, DJ Human has obtained several certifications from DataRobot, including DataRobot Essentials, DataRobot Visual AI, DataRobot Time Series Modeling, DataRobot Deeper Dive, DataRobot MLOps I, and DataRobot MLOps II, between March 2020 and June 2021.
