Stephen Wawire

Stephen Wawire has had extensive work experience in supply chain management. Stephen is currently serving as the Group Head of Supply Chain at Abacus Pharma (A) Limited since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Supply Chain - East Africa at Ecolab from August 2021 to September 2022. Stephen also worked as the Supply Chain Manager at Mabati Rolling Mills Ltd - Member of the SAFAL Group from January 2018 to July 2021. Furthermore, they served as the Supply Chain Director at Soko from November 2016 to December 2017, and as a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist at Pernod Ricard Kenya from April 2013 to November 2016. Stephen started their career at Diverser Inc as an Exports Administrator from May 2007 to June 2010, and later worked there as an Exports Manager from July 2010 to April 2013. Before that, they were an Exports Assistant at Herneth Horticulture Group from April 2006 to May 2007.

Stephen Wawire completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Procurement and Logistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2016. In 2015, they also obtained a Diploma in Procurement and Supplies from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supplies. Prior to that, in 2013, Wawire earned an Advanced Certificate in International Trade from eBSI. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from Moi University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2004. There is no available information about Wawire's education before their enrollment in Lenana School.
