Pelle Jacobs

Pelle Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Pelle started their career as a Corporate Relations Manager at AIESEC Leuven, Belgium, where they worked from October 2013 to June 2014. Pelle then joined Sagio.be as a Tutor in May 2013 and continued until August 2015.

In September 2013, Pelle became an Education Representative at Ekonomika, a role they held until August 2015. Pelle also worked as part of the Event team at AFT Leuven from February 2015 to August 2015.

In November 2014, Pelle started working as an Entrepreneur, focusing on developing Sénèrgie - a solar distributor in Senegal - at Academics for Development vzw. Pelle remained in this role until September 2015.

From September 2015 to February 2015, Pelle worked as a Front-End Web Developer at their own company, Pelle Jacobs. Pelle then joined NoviCap as a Junior Developer, where they contributed to the development of an online platform for SMEs. This role lasted from September 2015 to August 2016.

Pelle's next position was as a Full-Stack Developer and Innovation Hacker at The Factory, a part of EY. From September 2017 to March 2019, they worked on innovating and enhancing EY's business processes and services. Pelle then transitioned to the role of Full-Stack Developer and Innovation Engineer at EY, where they focused on internal and external startup scouting, incubation, and innovation. Pelle's role at EY lasted from March 2019 to January 2022.

Currently, Pelle Jacobs is working as a Full-Stack Developer at Abatable, a position they started in January 2022.

Pelle Jacobs completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics with a focus on Information Systems Engineering at KU Leuven from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they also participated in a summer language program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, specializing in Chinese Studies. During the same year, they attended Renmin University of China to study Chinese and Chinese Economics. Pelle Jacobs pursued further education in Chinese Studies at CLT Leuven from 2012 to 2017. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Business and Information Systems Engineering from KU Leuven from 2015 to 2018.
