Matt MacKay

Matt Mackay, CFA, is currently a Student Member at Harvard Innovation Labs, contributing to an ecosystem that fosters strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship among Harvard students and alumni. Previously, Matt served as a Senior Associate in Corporate Development (M&A) at Abaxx Technologies, focusing on financial technologies and market solutions related to climate change and energy transition. Matt's extensive experience includes roles as an Associate in Investment Banking at Canada Development Investment Corporation, an Associate in Software M&A at Valsoft Corporation, and a Senior Associate in M&A Corporate Finance at Deloitte. Earlier career experiences consist of internships at Novacap, Wells Fargo, and BDC. Matt holds a Master of Arts in Sustainability Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Concordia University, along with an exchange semester in Finance at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
