Archana Iyer

Archana Iyer is a Principal Research Scientist II at AbbVie since June 2021, with a robust background in immunology and systems biology. Previously, Archana served as a Scientific Research Manager and Computational Immunologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from December 2016 to May 2021, focusing on systems immunology. In earlier roles, Archana worked as a Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center from 2010 to 2016, and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Stanford University in the field of Allergy and Immunology from 2008 to 2009. Archana began academic training as a Graduate Fellow at Penn State University, obtaining a PhD in Immunology, and also holds a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences and Biotechnology from St. Xavier's College. Research focuses on applying reverse engineering and systems biology to construct context-specific maps of human malignancies and identify their master regulators.
