Kedar Puvar

Kedar Puvar is a Senior Scientist in the Targeted Protein Degradation Platform Group at AbbVie since February 2022. Prior to this role, Kedar served as a Research Fellow in the Fischer Group at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from August 2020 to February 2022 and also held a Research Fellow position at Harvard Medical School during the same timeframe, supported by an NCI F32 Fellowship. Kedar's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University, where research focused on structural and biochemical studies of bacterial effector proteins, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Valparaiso University. Additional experience includes work as a Laboratory Aide at Valparaiso University and internships at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where Kedar developed a rapid PCR method for MRSA strain characterization.
