Somayah Alqahtani

Somayah AlQahtani has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Somayah started their career at Mayar Foods, where they worked as an Accounting Intern for three months in 2017. Somayah then joined Waseet Electronics Co as a Treasury Specialist and Accountant in February 2018, and they stayed there until October 2019. Since November 2019, Somayah has been working at Abdulla Fouad Group, where they started as a Treasury Accountant and was later promoted to Senior Accountant. Somayah is currently serving as the Chief Accountant at Abdulla Fouad Group, a position they have held since April 2023.

Somayah AlQahtani completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Alsalam private school from 2009 to 2012, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Somayah AlQahtani has obtained several certifications. In October 2021, they completed the ACCA dip IFRS course at PwC. Somayah also obtained a Financial Modeling Master - Advance Diploma in financial modeling using excel and VBA from LEORON Institute in August 2021. Throughout 2021, they completed various courses on LinkedIn, including Strategic Thinking, Leading Strategically, Planning for Your Hybrid Organization, Compassionate Directness, and Finance Foundations: Risk Management. In 2020, they completed the Excel: You Can Do This course on LinkedIn. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Reading Financial Statements from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in February 2021 and Accounting Fundamentals from CFI in June 2020. Lastly, they obtained an ICDL certification from ICDL Arabia in September 2012.
