Graham Morrison

Head of Sport & Events at Aberdeen Sports Village

Graham Morrison has been working in the sports industry since 1997. Graham began their career at Sport Aberdeen as an Events & Projects Officer, responsible for the operational management of the events programme. Graham then moved into a Race Director role, with budget responsibility for a six figure event and increasing the event to a sell out of 6000 participants. In 2014, they joined Aberdeen Sports Village as Head of Sport & Events, followed by Events and Sports Development Manager and Events Manager roles. In 2017, they moved to Garioch Sports Centre as Race Director. In 2018, they were appointed Chair of the Local Organising Committee for the LEN European Junior Swimming Championships in Scotland in 2020.

Graham Morrison began their education in 1992 at The Gordon School, where they attended until 1996. Graham then attended The Gordon Schools, Huntly from 1993 to 1996. In 1996, they began attending Moray College and earned a Higher National Certificate in Sports Coaching with Development in 1998.
