Mike Lock

Mike Lock has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike started their career as a Project Manager at Seranoa Networks, where they successfully managed the product development cycle and achieved cost reduction and improved product testability. Mike then worked as a Marketing Consultant at Babson Consulting Alliance Program, providing valuation and strategic assessments for acquisition targets. At EMC Corporation, Mike served as a Marketing Analyst, generating product sales reports and identifying market opportunities. Mike later joined Aberdeen Strategy & Research, where they held various positions such as Research Associate, Research Analyst, Research Director, Vice President & Group Director, Senior Vice President of Research, and ultimately became the Managing Director & Principal. In these roles, they focused on topics such as technology markets, business intelligence, analytics, internet of things (IOT), and machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI). Mike was responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of Aberdeen research while overseeing 16 research practice areas.

Mike Lock completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College-Hartford from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued an MBA from Babson College, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Finance, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Prior to their college education, Mike attended Roxbury Latin from 1991 to 1996, but there is no information regarding any degrees or field of study from this institution.
