Prabha Chandrasekaran

Head, Scientific Design And Execution at ABL Inc.

Prabha Chandrasekaran has an extensive work experience in the scientific and medical field. Prabha is currently the Head of Scientific Design and Execution at ABL Inc. Since 2018, they have also been serving as a Senior Scientist & Volunteer Consulting Scientist at the National Institutes of Health. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Laboratory Director at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine from 2020 to 2021. Prabha has also held positions at the University of Maryland as an Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2018 and at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) as a Postdoctoral Scientist from 2008 to 2013. Prabha began their career as an ICMR Fellow (Ph.D) at the Indian Council of Medical Research from 2002 to 2008 and also worked as a DAAD Fellow (Ph.D) at DAAD German Academic Exchange Service from 2005 to 2007.

Prabha Chandrasekaran completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology and Molecular Biology from the National Institute For Research In Tuberculosis in 2008. Prabha holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General from Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College. Additionally, Prabha has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Madras.
