Jose Urbaez Cotto

Jose Urbaez Cotto has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jose started their career as a Transportation Security Officer with the Transportation Security Administration from 2008 to 2010. Later, they worked at CVS Pharmacy as a Shift Supervisor and Loss Prevention Agent from 2010 to 2014.

In 2013, Jose joined TMX Finance Family of Companies, where they held several roles over the years. Jose began as a Recruiter from 2013 to 2015, managing a full-cycle recruiting process. Then, they transitioned to Compliance Analyst, Senior Compliance Analyst, and finally, Compliance Manager from 2015 to 2022. In these positions, Jose conducted audits, monitored regulatory changes, developed compliance processes, and managed risk and compliance projects.

Currently, Jose is serving as the Director of Compliance Assurance at Above Lending, a position they started in 2023.

Jose Urbáez Cotto attended Armstrong Atlantic State University from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
