Chris Raymond

Vice President, Information Technology at ABRAMS

Chris Raymond has over 35 years of work experience in various roles within the information technology field. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology at ABRAMS since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at Harry N. Abrams, Inc. from April 2009. Alongside their career in IT, Chris founded Brooklyn Rod & Gun in January 2009 and served in a leadership role until December 2014. Chris also participated as a Focus Group Participant at Schlesinger Associates between 2010 and 2011. Chris's earlier career includes positions as the Director of the Project Management Office at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from July 1999 to February 2009, as well as roles at Rolling Stone Magazine and Wenner Media as an Editorial Systems Administrator and Manager, respectively. Additionally, they taught as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts from January 2005 to 2007.

In 1980, Chris Raymond began their education at Pratt Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Chris specialized in the fields of Painting and Photography, completing their studies in 1984. In terms of additional certifications, in June 2018, Chris obtained the CISSP Cert Prep: The Basics from LinkedIn.
