Lindy Humphreys has a diverse work experience in the digital publishing industry. Lindy started their career in 1998 as a Site Editor and Producer at EarthWeb, where they coordinated with authors and implemented content strategy. Lindy then moved on to Bookface.com as the Director of Business Development before joining Chronicle Books, LLC as the Manager of ePublishing. In 2004, Lindy joined John Wiley & Sons, Inc. as a Technologies Specialist. Lindy later worked at ABRAMS, where they held various roles including Associate Publisher, Senior Director of Digital Publishing, and Vice President of Digital Publishing. Their most recent role at ABRAMS is Vice President of Digital Publishing Sales.

Lindy Humphreys obtained a Master of Science degree in Business - Publishing Management from New York University, which they attended from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Oregon State University, where they studied from 1984 to 1988.
