Amanda Carver has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amanda started their career at HMP / YOI Ashfield as a Group Worker, where they delivered offender behavior programs to young offenders. Amanda then transitioned to the role of Assistant Psychologist at the same institution, where they provided 1:1 support to young people on self-harm and personal schemas.

From there, Amanda joined the North Somerset Youth Offending Team as a Support Worker, where they worked with young people to prevent them from entering the criminal justice system. Amanda also served as a Preventative Caseworker, developing targeted interventions and anger management programs for youth.

In 2012, Amanda joined Yarlington Housing Group as a Policy and Research Officer, overseeing resident surveys and maintaining the company's policy database. Over time, they advanced to the roles of Senior Research Analyst, Research and Policy Analyst, and Research Manager, taking on additional responsibilities such as leading the Business Intelligence Team and managing customer insights, performance, data reporting, and survey functions.
