John Stockel

John joined ABS Capital in 2015. As a principal, John supports ABS's cybersecurity, physical security, and data-centric technology and tech-enabled services investment efforts. John also serves as the vice president of strategy and corporate development at ABS's portfolio company, deepwatch. Prior to joining ABS, John was a senior associate at RSM, working in the firm’s audit and consulting practice.

John works in ABS's Washington, DC office. Outside of work, John enjoys traveling, hiking, sporting events (DC sports fan), and spending time with his wife, two kids, and their Bernese Mountain dog.
