Sam Nivin

Sam Nivin is a Decarbonisation Specialist at DS NORDEN since May 2021, focusing on identifying and analyzing new fuels and technologies to reduce emissions from ships, as well as forming partnerships with alternative fuels and technology providers. Prior to this role, Sam served as a Student Assistant in Operational Planning at Satair, where responsibilities included supporting the Planning Team with reporting and data analysis. Sam also worked as a Design Engineer - Piping at L&T POWER, involving the design and routing of piping systems for Supercritical Thermal Power Plants. Early career experiences include internships at Prakash Gears and Roots Industries India Limited. Sam holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
