Cathy Melson has extensive experience in proposal management, marketing, and business development within various organizations. Currently serving as the Sr. Proposal Manager at Absher Construction since October 2013, Melson previously held the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager at Welsh Commissioning Group from 2010 to October 2013. Prior experience includes a decade as Executive Director of the Enumclaw Area Chamber of Commerce, a role as VIP Club Supervisor at Live Nation from 2008 to 2009, and over a decade in multiple roles, including PR, retail management, and IT at REI from 1988 to 2001. Melson holds a degree in Organizational Management from the University of Arizona, earned between 2003 and 2006, and studied at Pierce College from 1982 to 1984.
