Shamitha Widanapathirana is an experienced leader in business development and channel management, currently serving as Senior Director for EMEA & India Channels at Absolute Software since January 2022. Widanapathirana previously held positions as Director for GSI, MSP & Operators, and Head of EMEA Operators & Channel at NetMotion Software, which was acquired by Absolute Software in July 2021. With a robust background at MobileIron as Global Account Director for EMEA Operators and other roles, Widanapathirana has cultivated significant partnerships with major operators such as BT Group and Telia Group. Early career experience includes technical consultative roles at Verizon Business and Research In Motion, supplemented by a degree in Computing and Information Systems from London Metropolitan University.
