Desderi Joseph Wengaa Jr

Desderi Joseph Wengaa Jr has a wide range of experience in the field of information systems and program management. Desderi Joseph started their career as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the Benjamin William Mkapa HIV/AIDS Foundation, where they developed and implemented the M&E framework for various projects. Desderi Joseph then moved on to RTI International, where they served as a Senior Technical Advisor, providing technical assistance in project management and systems analysis for the Tanzania Health Information Systems project. At Abt Associates, Desderi held multiple roles including Senior Information Systems Team Lead and Senior Technical Director for Information Systems and HR. In these roles, they provided technical leadership and oversight for the implementation of result areas related to planning and management at the local level, citizen engagement and social accountability, and health sector reforms. Desderi's expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the field of information systems and program management.

Desderi Joseph Wengaa Jr began their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in MBA - Corporate Management from UDSM & MZUMBE DAR CAMPUS from 2008 to 2010. Desderi Joseph then went on to earn a Masters of Business Administration (Corporate Management) degree from Mzumbe University-Dar es Salaam Business from 2008 to 2010. Lastly, they completed their education with a MPH, Executive Track, from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, School of Public Health, where they attended from 2014 to 2015.
