Julia McGirr

Julia McGirr, MS, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Business Development Specialist in Global Health at Abt Associates, managing capture and proposals for USAID solicitations across various health sectors. Previously, at US Pharmacopeia, Julia focused on improving access to quality pharmaceuticals in low- and middle-income countries, while at DAI, Julia contributed to proposal development in global health and engaged with stakeholders. Julia's experience includes advocating for health equity as a Health Equity Fellow at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, leading research at the Buck Institute, and performing innovative research at the University of Copenhagen and Brown University. Julia holds a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University, a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Brown University.
