Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Lead with expertise in automation architecture and a strong background in various testing methodologies, including integration testing, acceptance testing (or production testing), performance testing, and unit testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience driving the quality culture within engineering teams and laying the foundation for all kinds of automation testing using JavaScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks using JavaScript frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, puppeteer, playwright , etc.

• Define and enforce best practices for integration, acceptance, performance, and unit testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and prioritize automation efforts.

• Mentor and coach QA team members on automation techniques and best practices.

• Promote a culture of quality within engineering teams, advocating for testing methodologies.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical guidance for scalable automation solutions.

• Analyze test automation results to identify areas for improvement.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and quality assurance.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 4-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation.

• Extensive experience in automation architecture and designing automation frameworks.

• Proficiency in JavaScript programming and experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, Puppeteer, playwright).

• Strong expertise in integration testing, acceptance testing (or production testing), performance testing, and unit testing.

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Highly Desirable

• Basic understanding of computer vision, data science, machine learning, and robotics;

• Experience with web technologies, such as React and JavaScript;

• Experience with tools such as MetaShape, Cloud Compare, NavisWorks
