Michael Haanpaa

Michael Haanpaa joined Acacia Research as a Principal in January 2021. Mr. Haanpaa previously worked as a Vice President at Speyside Equity where he focused on sourcing, execution, and oversight of underperforming businesses headquartered in North America and Europe. Prior to Speyside Equity, Mr. Haanpaa has ten years of experience in investment banking and operations. Mr. Haanpaa has a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a MBA and JD from Indiana University.
