Alain Mangan

Alain Mangan is an experienced Analog Circuit and Software Designer currently working at Acacia Communications, a subsidiary of Cisco, since July 2021. Mangan previously held positions as a Senior Analog Designer at Synopsys, focusing on ΣΔ-ADCs and DDR products, and as a Senior Analog IC Designer at Huawei, where responsibilities included transmitter design and power distribution. Earlier experience includes roles as an Analog IC Designer at Gennum Corporation and Diablo Technologies, specializing in power and signal integrity, as well as clock distribution. Mangan began a career in software development with Ross Video and has held multiple positions with Quake Technologies in analog ASIC design. Academically, Mangan holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
