Mark Gill BEM has extensive experience in various leadership and strategic roles across the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Academy Transformation Trust since February 2022, Mark holds the position of Trustee and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee. Co-founder of Woodnewton, established in February 2007, Mark focuses on enhancing organizations' use of data and insights. Mark's previous roles include Secretary-Treasurer for the World Association for Public Opinion Research from 2016 to 2017, Director of Strategy and Research at GovNet from 2016 to 2017, and Executive Director for the Magna Carta Trust 800th Anniversary Committee, a position for which Mark received the British Empire Medal in 2017. Earlier career highlights include serving as Head of Political Research at Ipsos MORI, where Mark led political polling efforts, and starting as a Researcher at Ipsos MORI. Mark holds an MA in Special Advisers in British Government and a BA in Politics & Parliamentary Studies from the University of Leeds.
