Cheryl Reed

Cheryl Reed has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare and education sectors. Cheryl is currently employed as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Acadia Healthcare, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Cheryl served as the Senior Director of Military Operations at the same company from 2015 to 2023. Cheryl also has experience as a Regional Director of Psychological Health at the Air National Guard Psychologcal Health Program from 2010 to 2015. Cheryl has worked as a Therapist at Duncan, Brown, & Associates from 2008 to 2010, a School Based Clinician at Republic High School from 2006 to 2010, and a Social Worker/Therapist at Lakeland Regional Hospital from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they served as an Anti-Drug JO at Jackson County Juvenile Drug Court from 2001 to 2005 and as a PASS facilitator at NCADD from 2001 to 2005.

Cheryl Reed has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Criminal Justice and a BA degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Cheryl also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Clinical/Medical Social Work. Additionally, they have a Certification of Family Studies in the field of Children & Family.
