David W.

David W. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they worked as a Lead Grant Writer at Acadia Healthcare, where they focused on writing grant applications for the Comprehensive Treatment Centers division. Prior to this, David was employed at St. Anthony Foundation, where they held various roles such as Manager of Corporate Relationships and Senior Program Manager. During their time there, they managed corporate partnerships, developed and launched the Hygiene Hub program, and oversaw other program management responsibilities. In addition, David served as the Managing Director at MusicianCorps, leading operations across multiple markets and implementing a music national service demonstration. David also worked as a Consultant at KIJANA EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE and Arkansas Community Foundation, where they designed and facilitated educational programs and conducted assessments. David's earlier work experience includes an internship at McDonald's Corporation and serving as an AmeriCorps Team Leader at City Year.

David W. completed their education at the Clinton School of Public Service from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Public Service degree in Public Administration and Social Service Professions. Prior to that, they attended Berklee College of Music from 2004 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with no specified field of study. In addition to their formal education, David also obtained a certification as a Certified Trainer in Trauma Informed Systems from the San Francisco Department of Public Health in 2019.
