Cameron Buzzard

Cameron Buzzard has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career in 2010 as a Guest Ambassador Lead at San Diego Zoo Global, where they oversaw daily operations and coordinated with various departments. They also served as a Flightline/Jungle Ropes Relief Lead and performed lead duties for premium attractions.

In 2014, Cameron joined Qualcomm as a Staffing Coordinator, where they organized and scheduled interviews for candidates. They demonstrated excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in this fast-paced environment.

From 2015 to 2020, Cameron worked at Illumina in various roles. They started as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, supporting recruiters in a high-volume hiring environment. They then progressed to become an Associate Recruiter, responsible for full life cycle recruiting in different departments. Finally, Cameron became a Talent Acquisition Specialist and focused on hiring for Illumina's Commercial organization.

In 2020, Cameron joined ThinkFul for a 6-month Data Analytics Program, where they gained skills in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python. They extracted, cleaned, and analyzed datasets from various sources and presented actionable insights to make recommendations.

Following their time at ThinkFul, Cameron joined Pearson Fuels as an Operations Analyst in 2021. They utilized their data analytics skills to support operational decision-making.

In 2022, Cameron transitioned to Turning Point Therapeutics as a Talent Acquisition Partner, responsible for partnering with hiring managers and executing recruitment strategies.

Later in 2022, they moved to Bristol Myers Squibb as a Talent Acquisition Enablement, where they contributed to talent acquisition operations.

Currently, Cameron is working at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Talent Acquisition Operations Program Manager, focusing on managing talent acquisition programs.

Cameron Buzzard obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from California State University San Marcos between 2011 and 2013. In September 2016, they also received a certification as a LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter from LinkedIn Certification.
